Detroit Cabinet Company helped me sell my house before I listed it. I had their designer, Robert out to my flip house in St. Clair Shores. His design, price and actual cabinets were great, but that's not what was so special about this kitchen. Bob suggested I open the wall up between the kitchen and living room to give the appearance of a more open concept. His plan was to build a breakfast bar between the 2 rooms. I thought it was a huge undertaking but the carpentry and drywall work only cost around $200 with my handyman. Long story short I sold it to a lady who saw it before I had to list it with an real estate agent. It saved me over $9000 in commission, yes a $200 investment! My buyer told me over and over that the kitchen SOLD her. I will hire Bob and DCC for every remodel I do in the future.
